It's that time of year again. It's time for our club to renew it's
insurance. We're currently with AVEMCO but want to try to find something
less expensive. They also impose a limit on the # of members we can have
per airplane and would like to get out from under that restriction. Any
recommendations for or against other companies? Experiences?
Thanks

We're with AIG (54 members and 4 planes) they had better rates and
better coverage than AVEMCO when we switched.

Since you're currently with AVEMCO, that means you don't have an agent
shopping the market for you (AVEMCO only sells direct). I'd recommend
calling up a good aviation insurance broker. They'll shop all of the
insurers to get you the best deal.
I've been working with Falcon Insurance for a decade or so and have been
very happy with their service.

Agreed. We're with AIG via Falcon.
